Grown-ups

I fully intended on doing a Wedding Wednesday post today, but I couldn't decide what to write about. So instead of stressing about it I decided to just write about something else.

On New Years Day, Erik and I had the privilege of making dinner for my parents. Now, that might not sound like a big deal, but it was actually our first time making a real, sit-down dinner in our apartment. We went all out with a Honeybaked Ham, homemade mashed potatoes, broccoli, and Rhodes rolls. We got to use our serving platters and spoons for the first time too! We sure felt grown-up.

Is that beer?

NO, it's not beer---it's Martinelli's! And it was delicious and wonderful to be the first dinner guests in your home. I'm so glad you all found each other and are so totally happy together! Just wish we didn't live so far apart! Hey, it's 83 degrees outside, sunny and blue skies! Guess I'm not tooo unhappy to be back in SoCal!
